 Professional Experience

I used to have a cartoon strip (Seriama Iguana) that appeared in the Economic Times fortnightly supplement (Education Times) in India. It stopped after I moved to Cardiff. I have developed two other strips (Red Brigade Bandhu and Undercurrent) that I am interested in publishing. My cartoons are at http://shivcomics.tripod.com/ I was a student journalist for http://www.rediff.com/ where I reported on culture and student activity in New Delhi for 6 months in 2000.

I was a journalist for http://www.oyeindia.com/ where I reported about music and the media in New Delhi from 2000 to 2001. In this regard I covered concerts, musical events and media issues.

 I designed the covers of 5 books that are now in print, published in India by Orient Longman Ltd (http://www.orientlongman.com)/, one of the leading book-publishers in India. I am a computer graphic artist and have designed 6 internet sites, 4 of which are commercial. I designed the Rahul Dravid Internet Presence (http://dravid.cjb.net/) which is now the most visited cricket fan-site in India.

I have also designed the internet sites for 3 NGOs in South India. I have also designed a site about the Palestinian struggle which is at http://intifadanow.cjb.net
